Rayman Legends Delayed Until Q1 2013

Rayman-Legends-600x300

Sorry, Wii U buyers, but it looks as though you’re going to have to wait a little longer to play Rayman Legends, as it’s now been delayed until Q1 2013. Originally slated to appear alongside the launch of the console in November, Rayman Legends has gotten a lot of attention since it’s initial announcement, so this delay is bound to leave many gamers sad.

In a statement to VideoGamer.com, Ubisoft said, “We’re happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We’ll have more details to share soon.”

In some ways, this is good, as it means more attention can be given to Ubisoft’s other Wii U launch titles, including ZombiU and Assassin’s Creed III. However, Q1 2013 has plenty of other major titles scheduled for release, so Rayman Legends is still going to have its work cut out for it when vying for the dollars of over-saturated gamers.
