It’s the start of the week meaning we get to take a look at this week’s top 20 gaming charts, as always these are UK sales charts.
Saints Row IV is your chart topper this week as was the case last week, it’s nice to see that there’s a place in the industry for utterly stupid games like Saints Row IV. Not so silly is Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell Blacklist which manages to maintain it’s second position for another week running.
It seems the UK are in a forgiving mood they’re giving Final Fantasy XIV another chance with A Realm Reborn which is Square Enix’s attempt to fix a truly awful game. Did they succeed?, who knows and who cares, roll on Kingdom Hearts 3 baby.
There’s no doubt that 505 Games must be happy with the success of Payday 2, a game that doesn’t “sell out” to the Call of Duty crowd and instead aims to please it’s target audience. Charlie reviewed the game not too long ago and had a good time with it.
