MGS V: Ground Zeroes takes only two hours to complete

If you didn’t know, Game Informer’s March cover story is Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes It features a custom cover page drawn by series designer Yoji Shinkawa.

But, the most “interesting” part of their preview is they suggesting that the game, minus potential side missions, is less than four hours long:

We had four hours of exclusive hands-on time with Ground Zeroes, which we used to play through the main mission and experiment with extra modes.

Kotaku got the March issue of Game Informer’s magazine, and it looks like the game’s main mission can actually be completed in under two hours!

“Judged just by the core story mission, Ground Zeroes is short,” Game Informer writes. “We completed it in just less than two hours.”

This, of course, is excluding side missions or the console-exclusive classic Snake (PlayStation) and Raiden (Xbox) missions.

Konami will be charging $39.99 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions (retail) and $29.99 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (also disc-based)

Ground Zeroes is due out on March 18th.
