PC Owners rejoice as Trials Evolution is returning to the platform where it first debuted in the form of a Gold Edition slated for release on March. The name Trials Evolution Gold Edition would have you believe this is simply a port of the same game on the Xbox 360 with the extra DLC packed in but it’s actually a double pack of sorts.
Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will include the complete, critically acclaimed game Trials Evolution, specially enhanced for PC, plus all of the tracks from Trials HD, recreated using Trials Evolution’s graphics and physics engine. All the features that are the foundation of the unique Trials experience will be included in the game:
- Global Leader Boards
- Local and Online 4-Player Multiplayer
- Robust and Powerful Track Editor
- Indoor and Outdoor environments
- Bike and Rider customizations
- More than 129 Tracks in all!
The game is currently being developed by Ubisoft Shanghai under the supervision of RedLynx, a Ubisoft studio these days. Yeah I’d rather have RedLynx do the port themselves to be on the safe side but Ubisoft Shanghai’s HD ports of Beyond Good & Evil and Rayman 3 HD were fine so I wouldn’t worry too much.
Oh yeah the release date, that’s the important part. It will be out on March 22nd just like every other game I mention these days.
