Nintendo and GAME have teamed up to bring us a sweet ass Super Mario 3D World pre-order bonus. To my knowledge Nintendo is not normally one to do ‘special editions’ of their games but there’s always an exception here or there sometimes.
The contents of the special edition are pretty cool and not the usually cheap plastic rubbish you see in other games. Pre-ordering Super Mario 3D World at GAME will net you a special cat Mario themed keyring and a special sleeve cover which again features cat Mario complete with a furry texture for his belly.
For some strange reason I actually think this might be the greatest sleeve cover of all time, it’s so simple yet so effective.
Super Mario 3D World is set to launch on November 29th, the very same day as the PlayStation 4 because apparently Nintendo have balls of steel. The joke’s on Sony though because I know I’d rather be playing Mario anyway and this is coming from someone who pre-ordered the PlayStation 4 about 10 minutes after their E3 conference ended.
