Star Wars Battlefront running on the Frostbite 3 engine has been briefly shown at E3 to cheering and applause from the audience and a yelp of excitement from me.
After many rumours about the demise of the Star Wars Battlefront franchise a brief clip during EA’s E3 presentation confirmed its existence. A first person view of a solider running across a snowfield, suddenly lit up by lasers, followed by a spiralling snowspeeder when the video is plunged into darkness under the gigantic foot of an AT-AT.
Star Wars Battlefront was a really fun game, and was a fan favourite, so seeing it brought back to life on DICE’s stunning Frostbite 3 engine is really exciting.
The force is indeed strong in this one.
