So many people hated the ending of Mass Effect 3. In fact, protests and petitions plagued the internet following the release of Bioware’s trilogy wrap-up. Now, unhappy fans can re-live one of their darkest moments, with Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut.
According to Bioware’s official blog, the DLC “will include deeper insight to Commander Shepard’s journey based on player choices during the war against the Reapers”. It won’t change the ending, but will hopefully give closure to the millions of disappointed fans around the world.
The Extended Cut will be available on June 26 for PC and Xbox 360 customers worldwide. Playstation 3 customers in North America will be able to download the Extended Cut DLC on June 26, and the rest of the world on July 4.
