Marvel vs. Capcom is known as one of the best 2D fighting franchises the world has ever seen, and this September, we’ll be treated to Marvel vs. Capcom Origins - a combination of two of the early games from the series.
While not the very first two, Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes both helped mould the series, keeping it popular right up to the present day. Origins will offer “both the one-on-one gameplay of Marvel Super Heroes, with its unique Infinity Gem system, and the two-on-two carnage of Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, featuring a tag system, assists, and the wild Duo Team Attack.” We can also expect online multiplayer, 8-player lobbies, spectator mode, HD graphics, dynamic challenges, and replay saving. Awesome!
Origins will be available this September on Xbox Live Arcade (1200 Microsoft Points) and PlayStation Network ($14.99/€14.99/£11.99/AUD23.95). Get ready, fighting fans, for some old-school, ass-kicking action!
