Insomniac Games have released the launch trailer for FUSE even though it’s not due for another two weeks. I’ve been saying for awhile that I can honestly see this one slipping by unnoticed so I’ll do my part in creating a little awareness for the game whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Launching this spring, Fuse is a 4-person action-packed co-op adventure that thrusts players into the shoes of four elite operatives: Izzy Sinclair, Naya Deveraux, Dalton Brooks and Jacob Kimble. Built from the ground-up for lethal teamwork, Fuse sends players around the world to exotic strongholds to battle shadowy villains in order to prevent aFuse-powered arms race from spiraling out of control. Co-op is not required to participate in the excitement of Fuse - solo players can also experience the unique attributes of all four agents by switching between them on-the-fly during combat using the game’s LEAP feature.
There’s a demo available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 if you’re on the edge about FUSE, I wrote some impressions if you’re interested in reading such a thing. It seems like it’s going to be a fun title providing you can find three other friends to play with you.
EA who are set to publish FUSE announced earlier today that they’ll be ending their stupid online pass “feature” so the game will be free of such silliness. Let’s face it, the game is designed to be played co-op and not all your friends are going to bother with an online pass so this is good for FUSE.
