The demo to ever popular Dead Space 3 has been dated for release in January. Gamers will be able to download the demo starting on the 22nd although there’s actually a way of getting it a week earlier but it involves EA’s Origin service. Just follow the link provided in the press release and login with your Origin account to enjoy a week early access. Everyone else without an Origin account will have to register in order to access the demo early.
Visceral Games, an Electronic Arts Inc.(NASDAQ: EA) studio, today announced that a downloadable demo for Dead Space™ 3, the first entertainment blockbuster of 2013, will be available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network starting on January 22. Exclusively for Xbox 360, gamers who want a chance to play the demo one week early, can sign up on http://demo.deadspace.com.* In the demo, players will be thrust into deep space terror when unwilling hero —Isaac Clarke — and all-new co-op companion — Sergeant John Carver — crash land on Tau Volantis, an unforgiving ice planet teeming with Necromorphs. Dead Space 3 takes the franchise’s core elements of suspense, horror, action and sound and introduces them to all-new elements — including co-op play - that allows players to work together to take down the most ambitious Dead Space experience yet.
There you have it then, if you have an Origin account then you might as well pick up the demo early. Those who are not currently members of Origin are better off waiting week because signing up for something just to get a demo early is kind of stupid. Right then folks don’t let me stop you, feel free to continue complaining about the co-op mode they added in Dead Space 3. I’d love to join in but I’ve been a bit naughty and have not actually played Dead Space 2 yet so I really need to get round to doing that first.
