Sony Online have announced that the next chapter in the DC Universe Online story will be called Sons of Trigon. This will be the eight DLC pack for the free-to-play game.
Sons of Trigon will allow players to battle alongside Wonder Woman or her arch enemy Circe in new high-level multiplayer and single player missions as they race to confront Trigon on a quest for domination or peace.The action takes place in a nightmarish version of Gotham and aims to answer questions left unresolved in the games two year history.
Sons of Trigon takes place immediately after the events of the Sins of the Father storyline with Trigon escaping his dimension and launching an attack on earth. But before he was able to complete it he became trapped in Gotham. As the story unfolds new solo and multiplayer missions will be unlocked, as well as new gear.
A new power will be introduced, Celestial, which focuses on healing abilities. New Legends PvP characters Donna Troy and Cheetah will also become available through the DLC.

New Celestial Power, focused on Healing abilities
New shared area - Gotham City reduced to a wasteland - featuring daily solo missions
New alert -featuring a final battle with Trigon
Three new duos battling Trigon’s sons who represent six of the seven deadly sins
New Legends PvP characters Cheetah and Donna Troy
New Gear, including PvE iconic gear based on Brother Blood and Raven
New Feats and Collections
DC Universon Online: Sons of Trigon will be released later this year for PS3 and PC.
