HeroCraft Ltd and First Star Software have announced that Boulder Dash-XL will be coming to smartphones and tablets in the near future. Currently no exact release date was given but it’s expected to arrive before the 2012 holiday season so basically in a few weeks time. No specific platforms were announced other than iOS, Android & Windows Phone 7 so expect it on all the major devices that fall those categories.
Some of you may remember my Boulder Dash-XL review from a while back where I scored the game a 6/10 citing it’s better suited off as a download title at a cheaper price. Unless Boulder Dash-XL arrives at a higher than usual price it will be easier for me to recommend the title to those interested since it’s no longer a retail product.
