Can Ubisoft keep anything Assassin’s Creed IV related a secret? NOPE, here’s the debut trailer. It was supposed to be officially revealed tomorrow but for whatever reason, anything regarding Assassin’s Creed IV just ends up being leaked early. At this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if the game ends up being leaked early as well.
Right then it’s Assassin’s Creed IV in name but in actual fact it’s Assassin’s Creed VI if you prefer to include the other two Ezio chapters, you should they’re pretty good. This time round we’re jumping back to a time before Assassin’s Creed III to play as Edward Kenway, grandfather of Connor from the third game.
The theme of the game is pirates, with the exception of Cervantes De Leon from SoulCalibur, I’d say pirates within the games industry are criminally underrated. Naval battles from Assassin’s Creed III will very likely return which is cool since that’s basically the only thing that the game truly got right.
At present Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag is set to launch on Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, PS3 and PS4. Basically the game will be out on anything capable of running it, an “Xbox 720″ version will probably be announced the second Microsoft decide to show off their system.
